Here is the first show at Mackinaw City MI. My wife, 10 year old daughter and myself set it up in about 40 min. We are already happy with that because that is about the same time it took to set up our Ez-Up. A lot of that time we put into the Ez-Up was because all the brackets, bars and tubes I added to keep it on the ground. I sent a pix of my Wind Spinner bracket so you could see what I did with the awning brackets I bought. I have a few other brackets I'm going to get after a few more shows to make sure what I want to do will work. Very, very happy and well worth the money invested.

Hi Tom,

 

I ordered a Trimline Canopy a couple of weeks ago and I have to commend you on your brilliant design. I am a 62 yr old woman and it took me longer to get everything unloaded from the boxes than it did to put it together the first time.

I had watched the 2 videos so I felt I knew what to do--I put it together in less than an hour the first time and I was alone until it came time to put the top on it.. My daughter, the artist, is 25 and we took it to her first show this past weekend. We had no problem putting it together on site and were really pleased how professional she looked.

On the second day, the show closed at 5 pm. I noticed dark clouds and thought I heard distant thunder so I told her to hurry up and get her display broken down and into the car. We quickly took apart the abstracta and boxed up the jewelry. Then we tackled the canopy. Thunder and lightening quickly came upon us along with heavy rain and 40 mph winds. We would have abandoned it , but we had the walls off and two legs off as well. Our neighbors tent was picked up by the wind and slammed into a parked car. The wind then grabbed hers again and threw it out of the park. We were starting to panic when another neighbor of ours screamed at us to take the top canopy off so that the wind would not affect us. We promptly did that. All the while the storm continued and tents were collapsing and flying past. Lots of the artists lost all their work. two of our neighbors were selling photographs and they lost everything.

Once the storm passed, we looked around and if I had had a waterproof camera, I would have taken a picture. All of the Trimlines and Craft Hut designs were still standing amidst the carnage. It was movie worthy.

If anyone asks how long it might take a 62 and 25 to take down the tent in a panicky situation, tell them it can be done in under 15 minutes!! Start to finish.

And the real brilliance in your design comes from the fact that after all that, the 62 and 25 are still talking to each other!!

I wanted to let you know how ecstatically satisfied I am with your product. I was a little intimidated by 4 boxes, so of course procrastinated setting it up. I wound up setting it up at a show (not recommended, I know) after watching the DVD the night before - it was SO much easier than I expected! I see teams of people setting up and breaking down these style of tents, scratching their heads - looked difficult - SO NOT!! My first time took @ 1.5 hours - booth holders told me I wouldn't be ready in time, but I was. My second time setting up took less than an hour - I'm sure I can cut that down. And then I get to sit in my beautiful, sturdy, light-filled tent and admire the breeze ruffling the composure of every zUp owner there. At the first show I actually didn't sell much jewelry because all I could talk about was my new tent! ....
I absolutely COULD NOT be happier with my tent, with the money spent, or with your customer service. Thank you so much for doing what you do, and for doing it as well as you do. I couldn't be happier that I went with you guys.

After having my old tent literally bend in a wind gust at a show in March I knew it was time for a better tent.  I am so thankful that I got a Trimline.  It was tested this past weekend at ArtFest, Dallas when a real heavy rain came down.  My tent stayed stable and my work dry through all of it.  My mind was so much more relieved as I stood in my tent praying for other people instead of my own work!  What a gift.

Let's get EVERYONE indoctrinated into the world of "real" tents and the friendliest festival supplier on the planet. I had an EZ-up collapse in Tempe one year. The stupid thing was leaning on my tent for the rest of the weekend; we tied the collapsed legs to my tent, and my TrimLine supported half the weight of his 10x20 for the rest of the show. If TrimLines had wheels...gosh, I could just set up at home and DRIVE to the shows!!! I wanted to let you know how much we appreciate the strength of our Trimline.  We were at a show in Punta Gorda, Florida and experienced some very high winds.  The person next to us had a light weight tent and it was not secured well.  The wind gusted and took out her tent.  I was in the process of taking down my awnings when it happened.  Her tent and supports caught on the end of the short awning pole.  Our tent rocked and came up about 6 inches and then went back down.  The force was so strong it took three men to remove her tent from my awning pole.  I was worried I would have a lot of damage but not so.  The awning pole did not get bent.  The only damage was a triple holder for two awning poles.  I had the stabilizer bars at the bottom and really think they helped to keep the tent from toppling. People who saw what happened were also amazed at how little damage I received and the fact that my tent did not go down with the force of hers pulling on mine. I believe it is the strongest tent on the market and am very glad we are using a Trimline.

Quick story….Sept. 2002, Boulder, CO Fall Fest only allowed weights on brick pedestrian mall. 45 mph winds in the afternoon…1 st E-Z Up blows away; 2nd E-Z Up gets battered by artist’s heavy work (ironworker); 3 rd E-Z Up held down by frantic new artist, lots of damaged work. Even a Craft Hut was damaged (to be fair it did face straight into the gale). I sat safe and secure under my new TrimLine and hand out your fliers! Remember, I create GLASS but I was so solid I didn't even get up except to help the others and pack up when organizers OK’d it. People couldn't believe a glass artist wasn't panicked. Thanks a lot.

I just wanted to take the time to praise you on the WONDERFUL canopy that you make! My husband and I participate in 20 to 30 outdoor art shows all over the county each year. And when we first started, we really did our homework when it came to purchasing our canopy. We are very glad we did! We looked at all the canopies on the market including E-Z Up and Show Off among others and finally decided on the TrimLine. One of the BEST decisions we ever made! We have been through 3 tornadoes (in Oklahoma), one snow storm (in Colorado) and many thunderstorms (all over) and “Old Bertha” has never let us down once. We just completed our first show with our new Flourish TrimLine. It went up easily and was easy to take down. At the show in Marietta, GA, my wife and I had it up in minutes. Bill Ronay, who publishes the Ronay Guide to Arts and Crafts Shows, came by while we were setting up and remarked that we had the “Cadillac of Canopy’s”. I am a jaded ol’ 63 year old man who is kinda hard to impress, but I am impressed. The skylight made the prints glow in the soft light.

I have to tell you, these guys are great to work with. They are all artists/crafters and realize that we each have our own individual needs when it comes to a canopy. They have put a lot of thought into what a canopy should provide (from the artist’s point of view) and I think they did a great job.
